Brrrr! This is what Floridians call cold!

Prior to tonight (Nov. 21), the lowest temprature we've had this season on the west coast of Florida is 58 degrees. But a cold front will drop the temperatures into the low 50s for the next three nights in the wake of our first significant cold front of the season.

However, after the weekend, it will be back to normal with lows in the 60s and highs in the upper 70s or low 80s. And our Thankagiving Day forecast calls for a high of 81 and low of 64 under sunny skies.

Isn't it great in The Sunshine State? -- apart from hurricanes, that is!

Too dang hot in the summers. West Coast is a little better since the breeze moves with the direction of most storm systems. When I lived in Jacksonville I owned 1 pair of jeans. I wore shorts throughout all of high school except 1 day my senior year when it was 30 degrees that morning.

I had looked about moving 12 years ago about moving to the west Coast of Florida but it was way too expensive and they weren't willing to pay engineers enough at all down there.

Tonight here in Sarasota, it's forecst to get down to 51, which would mark the lowest temperature since late February, 270 days ago.

Snowing just NW of me.

This is brutal for the ones that lost homes during the hurricane. Roy Cooper (D) is ignoring them.
