Apparently, the NCAA had no real evidence against Johnny Football. He may have taken money for autographs but no paper trail. A 1/2 game suspension, against Rice. Rice is not a football powerhouse. Well, it's getting close to that time again.....Military Bowling Championships in Vegas for retired and active duty or veterans. This will be my 8th year and really enjoy the tournament....three 4-game blocks (team, doubles and singles with all events). Since I ......ahem...... turned 60 last year, I found a Senior Retired (60 and over) team to bowl with in January 2014. Will see how that goes.......Always a good time..........

Is it possible that the best league that has ever bowled in the Metro area of New Orleans is about to fold? As best we can check it started in the early 1950's on airline hwy at O'Shonasee(bad speller) moved to Paradise and then to DC all star now AMF All star lanes. the league is now called the Business league and bowls on Wed night. If can think of better league let me know. I have the stats to back up my claim. J.L.
The annual meeting of the New Orleans Bowling Association (NOUSBCBA) will be held next Sunday, August 25th at AMF All Star Lanes in Kenner at 3:00 PM. The meeting is open to all members (Adult & Youth) and will follow a meeting which AMF has scheduled for their league officers starting at 2:00 PM. Hope to see many of you there around 3:00 PM for our association meeting.
